Story: Palestine-Israel updates day 137, Israeli invasion of Gaza with strained humanitarian supply continues; 21-02-2023;

• According to a report online, the acute malnutrition in Gaza reached 16.2%, a rate that exceeds the critical threshold set by the World Health Organization at 15%.

• The World Food Programme says it's pausing food deliveries to northern Gaza, due to risk of safety of people who are delivering aid in these areas, and of those who are receiving it.

Meanwhile, the southern part of the Gaza is being bombed to death.

According to Gaza's health official report, 40,000+ Gazans reported to have been killed in the ongoing onslaught of Israeli bombing and ground invasion.

Reports say starvation is being used by Israel, as a weapon against Gazans, to kill people in the besieged strip.

Gaza humanitarian supply is hit the worst, since the Israeli offence restarted on Gaza, reports claim "almost no aid reaching the worst hit areas in Gaza."

Reports of more than 28,000 Palestinians killed in Israeli invasion of Gaza, which many say is a "ongoing massacre".

Israel is making sure that Gazans be killed with as many ways as possible. With almost no food, water, and other required supply, in the worst war hit parts of Gaza, people are resorting to seawater, skipping day's meal, and are getting deceases due to unsanitary living condition in mid of winter.

People in the worst hit north and southern areas and those who have displaced due to Israeli bombing and invasion, are facing the worst situation, while living in open in winter. On top of everything, the Gaza medical system has collapsed, and the Israeli bombing is not stopping in the most densely populated areas.

According to a report by Aljazeera, the the UN agency OCHA says “Thousands of people line up before aid distribution centres in need of food, water, shelter, and protection, amid the absence of latrines and adequate water and sanitation facilities in informal displacement sites and makeshift shelters.”

The hopes for another ceasefire

According to reports online, Israel-Hamas may reach another ceasefire, in coming days, as pressure to end the war and to implement an ceasefire is mounting day by day on Israel. While the talks are been made between top officials from, Qatar, Israel, US and other involved parties.

• Israel is forcing people in northern Gaza to flee South.

On top of all, food and water supply is inadequate for the war torn Gaza, due to Israeli inhumane impose on food, water, electricity, fuel, and other essential supplies to the enclave.

Israel is forcing a starvation death to people of Gaza, casualties reported due to starvation according to reports, published on X (formerly known as Twitter.) A total of 11,500+ Gazan's have been killed and 1 Million+, has been displaced.

According to a report online, the Southern part of Gaza is increasingly being overcrowded, leading to scarcity of food and water. The fact that Israeli military has divided and put a blockade in Gaza cutting the North and South, has led the people in Southern part inaccessible to the food storage, and warehouses situated in the northern part.

Various reports say, People in Gaza are skipping meals, standing in large ques' for hours to get just 10kg of flour, for the families. Israel has bombed the majority of the bakeries in the Gaza City, and only a few are functioning.

• According to the UN, no bakery in the northern Gaza Strip has been active since November 7 because of the lack of fuel, water and wheat flour.

Many people from around the world are criticizing Israel for its attacks on the food and water of the people of the Gaza. Israel has been relentlessly bombing the strip since October 7, and allowing just too little humanitarian relief to enter the besieged city.

A report published online shows that around 500 relief trucks from the Egypt border used to enter the Gaza every day, until October 7, but now only a handful of them are doing so due to restrictions imposed by Israel.

“Reports of people resorting to drink seawater have also surfaced. While news of Israel attack on Al-Shifa hospital's main water pipeline have made headlines as well, with officials from the hospital, stating, how Israeli soldiers took away the water bottles from the hospital's storage.”

Hamas, the governing body in the Gaza Strip, has denounced the move by Israel. Many leaders, human rights activists, public from around the world has also been criticizing Israel for its food war against the innocent people of Gaza. But nothing has been done so far to stop such atrocities, instead the speakers of human rights, have been vocal in their “ironclad” support to whatever Israel is doing and in whatever it would do in future.

According to a report by Al Jazeera, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has warned its operations in war-torn Gaza would shut down within two days due to fuel shortages as fighting rages between Israel and Hamas.

“The humanitarian operation in Gaza will grind to a halt in the next 48 hours as no fuel is allowed to enter Gaza,” UNRWA’s Gaza chief Thomas White wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Monday.

Hamas attacked southern Israel on 7 October, in response to repeated provocation by Israel in West Bank and repeated storming, shelling of Al-Aqsa mosque.

Israel declared a war against Gaza, in response to attacks, Israel claimed the attack killed about 1,200 people.

After the Hamas attack, Israel cut off supplies of water, electricity, fuel, and food to the territory of 2.4 million people, leading to the catastrophic situation in the besieged enclave.
